HALL, FREER, SR.
Freer Randal Hall, Sr., 74, of Cloverdale Community, St. Marys, died
Friday, May 31, 1996, at his residence.
He was born in Beech, a son of the late Doy and Bertha J. Price Hall.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II with
the 10th Mountain Division Ski Troops in Italy from 1944-1945. He
retired in 1983 from Monongahela Power, Willow Island Power Station,
as a shift supervisor after 36 years. He enjoyed playing bluegrass
music and was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Virginia Dare Wallbrown Hall;
five sons, Amos Richard "Dick" Hall, Roger Lee Hall and Jerry Edward
Hall, all of St. Marys, Freer Randal Hall, Jr., of Palatine, Ill.,
and Alan Dale Hall of Williamstown; one daughter, Randa Dare Gregg of
St. Marys; one brother, Harold B. Hall of Hartville, Ohio; 14
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wade Hall and Ernest Hall.
Services were held at Ruttencutter Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Rev.
Chuck Boston officiating. Burial was in Cloverdale Cemetery.
