Ray Nutter, 58, died Monday at 5:50 a.m. at his home in Barlow Twp.
He was born Nov. 27, 1899, in Calhoun County W.Va., a son of the late Charles C. and Nancy Mitchell Nutter. On April 4, 1920 he married Ruth Everson.
His wife survives with one son and one daughter, Leeman Nutter of St. Albans, W.Va. and Mrs Rachel Benedict of the home.
Two children are deceased, Rex Nutter and Forest Nutter who was a casualty of World War II. There are three grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters survive, O. J. Nutter of Vienna, C. B. Nutter of Fleming; Mrs Ellie Tucker of Oakland, Md.; and Mrs Eva Sampson of Belpre.
Mr. Nutter was a farmer. He came to Belpre in 1949. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Methodist Church at Rocksdale W.Va. and of Cremo Lodge No. 202, Knights of Pythias.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Warren Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. and Mrs Charles Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in the Warren Chapel Cemetery. RUHAMA RUTH NUTTER
Ruhamah Ruth Nutter, 89, of Vincent, died Saturday afternoon, November 17, 1990, in the St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg. She was a resident of the Arcadia Nursing Home, Marietta for the past 2 1/2 years.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Asa and Anna Kerby Everson. She had lived in Calhoun County before moving to the Marietta area in 1949. She was a member of the Warren Chapel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Garnet Rebekah Lodge of Watertown.
She is survived by one daughter, Rachel A. Haught of Little Hocking; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Loris Waggoner of Arnoldsburg, and Doris Harpold of Gay, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anderson Ray Nutter, in 1958; and three sons, Lexie Leeman Nutter Sr., Veyon Rex Nutter and Foster Forest Nutter.
Services were scheduled for Tuesday, at the McClure-Schafer Funeral Home, with burial in the Warren Chapel Cemetery.

Orval Waggoner, 85, of Arnoldsburg, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at Roane General Hospital.
He was born in Rocksdale, the son of the late Noah and Leona Jane Walker Waggoner. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Loris Everson Waggoner; two sons, donald Waggoner of Parkersburg and Orval A. Waggoner of Arnoldsburg; six grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lota Nichols Waggoner, and one grandson, Orval J. Waggoner.
Services were scheduled Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mt. Zion.

Loris Waggoner, 88, of Spencer, West Virginia, died August 14, 2002 at Roane General Hospital
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Ace and Annie Kirby Everson. She was a member of the Leatherbark Community Church.
Surviving are two stepsons, Donald Waggoner of Parkersburg, WV and Orval A. Waggoner of Arnoldsburg, WV, also six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Waggoner was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Waggoner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Reverend Carl Marks will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hur. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services, Saturday.

Mary Doris Harpold, 86, of Gay, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.
She was born on the West Fork, the daughter of the late Asa Eli and Zilla Anne Kerby Everson. She was a homemaker and member of Gay Homemakers, Jackson County Senior Citizens and Elk Fork Church.
Surviving are one son, Robert Harpold of Statts Mill; one daughter, Mary Pursley of Leroy; twin sister, Loris Waggoner of Calhoun County; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Marion Harpold, in 1975; one son, Russell Harpold; one daughter, Edith Harpold; and eight brothers and sisters.
Services were held at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Enoch Pursley officiating. Burial was in Harpold Family Cemetery, Gay.
